Equipment Alarms

Alarms originate from physical controllers or devices at a site. Each critical piece of equipment or controller has an associated threshold. Our system interfaces with these controllers to ingest and react to alarms when thresholds are crossed.

This page displays site equipment alarms received from data managers.

The smart table displays the following:

  • Site name: The site where the alarm originated
  • Controller: Specific controller that triggered the alarm
  • System component: Specific controller that triggered the alarm
  • Alarm category : General type or classification of the alarm.
  • Alarm class: Class or type of the alarm, indicating its nature or cause.
  • Alarm severity: Level of urgency or impact of the alarm
  • Alarm type : Specific type of alarm, based on predefined categories. If it's undefined, no alarm definition has been associated
  • Alarm reason: Cause for triggering the alarm
  • Serial number: Unique identifier for the device or controller that generated the alarm
  • Alarm reference: reference number or code associated with the alarm
  • Alarm description: detailed description of the alarm and its context
  • Date occurred: date and time when the alarm was triggered
  • Date cleared: date and time when the alarm was resolved
  • Date created: date and time when the alarm record was created in the system
  • Date modified: date and time when the alarm record was last updated
  • Telemetry: Data related to the device’s performance or status that triggered the alarm
  • Issue number: identification number associated with the specific issue or problem
  • Asset: Asset that triggered the alarm

The resulting item list may be exported as an excel document.
